Opportunities to Give & Win

"What's in the Box?" Silent Auction
We have selected The Children's Burn Hospital to be the beneficiary of our signature charity event.  Instead of hosting a regular silent auction, we are hosting "What’s in the Box?” Auction.  We are asking all participants to purchase a retail scrapbook item retailing $8-10*. Example – paper packs, totes, scissors, embellishments, etc.  Each participant will place their item in a gift box and wrap it attractively to be presented at the silent auction. No gift bags please.  The bidding will be set up as a regular auction with sign-up sheets.  The only difference is that the bidder will not be able to view the actual item up for bid.  This in itself will create a new level of excitement and participation.  We have set a bold goal of raising $2,000.00 for The Children's Burn Hospital.

*Helpful hint: Take this opportunity to visit your local scrapbook stores for in-store specials and closeouts.  You may also watch for discount coupons to be used at your local craft and hobby stores.  We ask you to spend $8 - $10 and with a little bargain shopping you may find a $20 item on sale for $10.  Happy shopping and remember, it is for a worthy cause.

Ronald McDonald House
Crop Connection was created out of a personal desire to be able to bless people.  We love throwing parties and preparing "happies"
for people.  Crop Connection serves as a wonderful venue for us.
We love to give!  "Give and it shall be given unto you..." Luke 6:38.
We would like to give you the opportunity to help us bless
Ronald McDonald House.

Ronald McDonald House holds a special place in our hearts because they met a personal need several years ago with one of Deanna's children.  Please read "Our Story"  on our web-site.  We normally host a Silent Auction to raise funds for RMDH.   Due to limited space, we will not host the Silent Auction this summer.  However, we will be accepting donations for the RMDH Wish List.  For each item you donate to help with the "Wish List", you will receive a ticket for a chance to win a fabulous prize.

Special Note: Ronald McDonald House is no longer accepting pop tabs.

Crop Connection Policies

Cancellation Policy/Refunds
Our goal is to offer a great cropping event at the lowest possible rates. To do this, we must book our crop to capacity and we count on our registered attendees to be there. Therefore a $30.00 cancellation fee will apply. We understand that there are unexpected situations that could arise, and the staff at Crop Connection will do their best to try and resolve any issues. If there
is a waiting list and we are able to place someone in your place,
we may, at our discretion, waive the cancellation fee. There will be no refunds given for any reason, including but not limited to weather or natural disaster if cancellations occur within thirty days of the event. There will be no refunds for no-shows.  Policies and prices are subject to change. There is NO EXCEPTION to the cancellation policy.
Registrations are non-transferable.

Children
We love children and they are the primary reason most of us scrapbook.  Crop Connection was created to give you an opportunity to escape from the demands of everyday life.  In order for us to provide an atmosphere where your creativity thrives, children under 10 will not be permitted at Crop Connection.  Children 10 and older must be registered for the crop. You may not bring your child to crop with you and share your table.

Non-Smoking Facility
The The Wahabi Shriner's Headquarters is a smoke free facility.  Smoking is not permitted inside or within 50 feet of the building entrance.  We must comply.

Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages allowed at Crop Connection, neither inside nor on the premises.  If you are observed consuming alcohol or have it in your possession, you will be asked to leave
the premises.

AC/Heat
The air/heat at the facility is set at a certain temperature and
locked - we cannot adjust the temperature on-site.  Bring a jacket

Music
Crop Connection is intended to be a quiet, quaint scrapbooking weekend.  If you would like to listen to music, please bring your personal player with headphones.  We appreciate each person's consideration for the next person.

Spray Adhesives
Do not use spray adhesive inside the crop room.  You may use the parking lot (away from vehicles) to spray adhesive.

Due to the limited number of outlets, we will have a designated area for all cricut machines.  Please label your machine with your name and table number.
