If you love mini books, or if you have wanted to make one and just haven’t gotten around to it, you‘ve gotta take this class! These are absolutely the fastest, cutest, most accessible mini books you have ever seen! In one hour and a half, yep, just ninety minutes, you will make not one, not two, not three, but FOUR ACCORDION MINI BOOKS!!! Two will be small brag books, approximately 4 x 5.5. The other two will accommodate up to nine 5 x 8 photos! One of the large ones even has pockets to hold memorabilia or the fun, oversized tags you‘ll make! Hi, I’m Renea Smith. I am married to the man of my dreams and we have five beautiful children and two absolutely adorable grandchildren! (Bet you can’t guess what my latest scrapbook obsession is!) I’ve been scrapbooking for about fifteen years. My sweet hubby has fueled this obsession by buying me an awesome camera and by not complaining even once about me taking over the entire office for all my “stuff.”
I have a BA in English from Belhaven which, much to my parents frustration, I put to good use making absolutely no money home-schooling my kids. (They did eventually forgive me - both my parents and my kids!) I “retired” after about twelve years as a home-schooling mom and started teaching scrapbook classes at Michaels Craft Store. (The idea was that teaching would pay for my habit. Oh, well!) For over a year I’ve been the Event Coordinator at Michaels. My job gives me lots of opportunities to experiment with different craft areas and products. (And lots of chances to see what’s on clearance, too!)
My scrapbook classes have included items from almost every department at Michaels.
I really enjoy trying to think outside the box of traditional scrapbook supplies to come up with new ideas and designs. I love the whole creative process. Now that Michaels isn’t having classes any more, several of my scrappin’ buddies and I get together a couple of times a month at my church. If you’re looking for a place to crop, make friends, and have fun, let me know! We have lots of room!

(1) Permanent adhesive like a Xyron (the 5 inch of larger), or tape runner.
I know, we all like removable but you wouldn’t want to take a chance on this
thing coming apart after a months of use!
(2) Also, a strong adhesive that will hold chipboard or wood. (I used Scotch
Quick Dry Adhesive but you could probably use the Xyron if you like.)

Anna Bess Simmons - I am the wife of an amazing husband, and the mother of two precious girls. I have been scrapbooking for about two years. My interest initially began as a creative outlet for a stay at home mom. Needless to say, the involvement has grown. I have a degree in Interior Design and worked at an architectural firm until I decided to stay at home with our babies. After many hours of frustration over only making Play Dough people and playing with Barbies, I found scrapbooking. That's how my journey began. I attend several crops a year and teach classes at many of them. I have also been a design team member for It's Not Just Scrap. My daughters are now four and six and we enjoy scrapping together!
Valerie Barton began a passion for scrapbooking when she was introduced to the hobby many years ago. She has an eclectic style and loves to experiment with new techniques. She has been honored as a Memory Makers Master and Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame Honorable Mention. Her work has been published in Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks,
Memory Makers, BHG Scrapbooks ETC, PaperKuts, Ivy Cottage Creations and other various publications. Valerie lives in Brandon, Mississippi with her husband Mark and two
children Kaitlyn and Addison. To support her scrapbooking habit she works as an elementary school counselor.

Sandi Nezat & Karla Wyse are a mother/daughter team. After attending the very first Crop Connection as croppers, they returned home to Alabama and started their own scrapbooking business, It's Not Just Scrap. They come to Crop Connection every year as vendors and instructors. Sandi & Karla have a design team to help them keep up with the latest trends and attend CHA to ensure the newest products for their customers.
Hi my name is Marcie Peterson and I live in the small town of Chickasaw, AL, just outside of Mobile with my husband of 26 years and our 19 year old daughter. We also have a son and a daughter-in-law who live in Hawaii.
I caught the scrapbooking bug in the summer of 1999, on a trip to Birmingham. Since then, I have owned my own scrapbook store, worked at a scrapbook store, and taught classes at a few conventions, including Crop Connection. Now, my mother and I have started a small business out of my home called Kutitup Studio which offers bags of embellishments and other handcrafted items. As you can see scrapbooking is my passion!
Kim Chancellor lives in Madison,MS and is married to Danny Chancellor. They have three sons: Brent, a freshman at Ole Miss, Caleb, 9th grader and Drew, a 7th grader. She has been a Creative Memories consultant since July 2000 and is a Unit Leader with Creative Memories. She enjoys taking pictures and working on her own scrapbooks. Her first love is hands on cropping, however she enjoys learning all the things you can do with the new digital scrapbooking.
